Sandlådan draws their inspiration from the various straws of experimental electronic music's history, and their music is largely built upon improvisation. Sandlådan's primary sound could best be described as bubbly and playful: freely evolving sound clusters entwine with glistening organ drones, creating blissful soundscapes. The duo's full-length Alppikatu is a compilation from one recording session from 2016, taking its name from locations central to the album's recording. Released by B-Komissio, Alppikatu is a sunny ambient album, the tracks of which change and shape in their own pace, ending up in undetermined yet wonderful places.
